Shift Videos
As Assistant Stage Manager for SpongeBob the Musical, I coordinated and rehearsed the show’s complex scenic shifts. Every transition was a choreographed moment: fast, precise, and as alive as the scenes they supported.

This production demanded tight coordination between departments to keep the energy flowing seamlessly from one scene to the next. I organized and ran shift rehearsals, ensuring every crew member knew their cues, timing, and movement paths. We built consistency through repeated practice and video documentation of each transition, using playback to fine-tune timing and safety.
Because SpongeBob relies on color, rhythm, and motion, the scene changes had to feel like part of the show, not pauses between it. I collaborated with the deck crew, automation, and props teams to establish a repeatable system that kept the show running smoothly through each showing. Those rehearsed shifts became their own choreography: precise, musical, and essential to the storytelling.
